Reviews
The staff is super sweet, the cost of the groceries are way more than the other local grocery stores. They’re lacking in most things not junk, & I often find myself with items that have expired or are molded (I regularly need to use delivery services for disability reasons). It’s a joke that this is a standard they’re comfortable offering their clients, especially with the ridiculous pricing, considering most of their clientele are struggling students, it feels like they’re completely out of touch with the reality of their clients & cannot cater to their needs adequately.
But - the cashiers are always pleasant and I literally don’t have a single bad thing to say about the workers.
I’m aware that the control over the pricing may not be of the owners own choice, but I feel like a heads up for people looking to buy and have a restrained budget- and time, would be appreciated either way.
Miserable student staff on evenings, filthy, rundown shop. A lot of vegetables look like they have come from the compost heap.
Going to change to Maxi – bet it will be back to normal in 6 months.
Wish there was an IGA in town – far better shop and prices
Not worth 1 star
Much appreciation to Robert Lafond and Liette. They went out of their way and were very kind and helpful.
Pretty tight store due to small space...limited selection ..pricey
Expensive grocery store with poor selection. The good news is that this store is closing and being converted to a Maxi. I hope the prices and selection will be much better afterwards!
This place is nice and often has sales, but try to avoid the bathroom here
There are not many choices. Prices are higher than in other grocery stores. The only good point is the nice staff that works there.
brisk is dirt cheap here wow
